This program delivers value to all parties involved. Firstly, the assignee is exposed to a host’s good practices that may not be known in the home country. Similarly, the host will also gain a fresh perspective and diverse experiences within its fold. Finally, when an assignment ends, the home country also gains a more rounded employee with broader views.
What was your motivation to search for an assignee to fill a vacancy within your division? What benefit do you see for the company and especially your team?
Service teams rely heavily on technical knowledge and skills, some of which may only be gained through experience. The human resource pool of KM is rich and diverse across Europe and this program enables the value of these resources to be shared, thus maximizing their potential.
What will the assignee take back when returning to home country?
The assignee has gained exposure to a highly diverse cultural experience, not only from the host, but also from the assignment’s customer group in this case. Furthermore, he has been given the opportunity to handle tasks and duties outside of his professional background with the intention of expanding skillset.
